We provide primary care, emergency and critical care medicine to our patients, in a modern and clean environment. Our team of concerned professionals works to diagnosis and prescribe treatment for our patients in need. We are involved in the following areas of medicine to support our pets' health:
Even during power outages, Armistead Avenue Veterinary Hospital
has in place a large generator to allow continued operation. The environment is maintained for the comfort of people and pets. The standards of medical care remain high and surgeries continue uninterrupted.
Our extended medical family includes the professional staff of the Peninsula Emergency Veterinary Clinics. They provide after hours, overnight, weekend, and holiday emergency medical care for our acutely ill and injured pets. Our critically ill patients are often transferred to the emergency center for continuous observation, evaluation and treatment around the clock. Please check this site for phone number and location.
The professional staff of our outside lab provides important analysis of specimen we submit for advanced testing. Pathologists make available biopsy results, analysis of blood components and much more. Radiologists are ready to interpret radiographs. Cardiologist evaluates EKGs over the phone. This is all done on a daily basis.
